I have at last “officially” discovered IKEA – that is, I might actually own one of their products in the future. This post is simply a reminder of things I want to view again and keep in mind for the future. There are always things to be stored, and I do so desperately want a nice display cabinet for my old radio show memorabilia… *sigh* someday.
Living Room:
- LAXVIK side table [$39.99; black and simple, just the way I like it]
- RAMVIK side table [$69.99; black and simple, with a bit more space for books and magazine]
- SVALOV side table [$89.99; too bad it's white, but still nice]
- KLUBBO nesting tables, set of 3 [$69.99; matching yet different - I like!]
- KOLSVIK coffee table [$139; I'm not a fan of coffee tables (typically serve as space-wasters), but if I were to have one, this would be it]
Cabinets (for my precious old radio show treasures):
- LEKSVIK glass-door wall cabinet [$129; I thoroughly approve]
- NORDEN glass-door cabinet [$379; I love black]
- BJURSTA glass-door cabinet [$349; perfect in brown-black]
I shall return to this in the future.

I saw some of their stuff last semester in a friend’s apartment and was shocked at the good quality. In movies, shows… well.. in many things, I have always heard of IKEA in a somewhat mocking way.
The friend (the one I mentioned previously) show me an IKEA catalog and there is some REALLY nice stuff. When I have my first house, I will definitely buy some stuff from there.
I really, really like your new blog. And I love you.
